CASA Nepal
Implemented by Swisscontact in Nepal since 2019, CASA works with agri-SME partners in the Dairy and Vegetables value chains, as well as through FCDO Centre of Expertise (CoE) vouchers that are value chain agnostic, and include agri-processing, fish feed, meat processing, and medicinal and aromatic plants.
With Dairy partners, CASA Nepal’s approach is to enhance the inclusive commercialisation of the Nepal dairy sector through increased investment in dairy agri-SMEs and increased availability of quality milk in the formal supply chain. Working with partners in the Vegetables value chain, CASA Nepal drives inclusive commercialisation by linking smallholders and semi-commercial farmers to markets through increased investments in agri-SMEs and major players in the sector. Through the CoE voucher scheme, CASA Nepal partners with agri-SMEs to improve their productivity and competitiveness by increasing production, improving quality, and expanding their client base.
