How CASA and Orum Cooperative worked together
Project title: Support farmers to aggregate for output markets and improve access to agricultural support services
CASA supported Orum to become investment ready. The cooperative can now attract investment from both commercial and impact investors to provide capital investment and the working capital required to expand operations. CASA also supported Orum to implement the recruitment and training of 288 village agents to train farmers in good agronomic practices and post-harvest handling thus improving the quality and quantity of sesame produced by smallholder farmers
